A new short film featuring adopters talking about their experiences of adoption is now available on the Aspire YouTube site.
The film asks the question ‘What is it like to adopt?’. We hear from 3 different adopters about the joys adoption has brought to their life and also how their children have developed since being within the adoption home.
In the film we hear from single adopter Claire, about what its like to be a mummy and how her child has gone from strength to strength, Claire’s father & adoptive grandad, Brian, talks about his experiences from a grandparents viewpoint. We also hear from Lydia, another single adopter, who has adopted 2 children, and now lives with her mother as one big happy family. Finally, we hear from Michael & Ben, talking about their experiences of adopting a 4 year old boy.
